Danby Addresses
Astronomy Group
In Talk Monday

John Danby, speaking on celestial
mechanics, will be the guest lecturer
at Monday's joint colloquium
of the department of astronomy
and the National Radio Astronomy
Observatory at 4 p.m.

Mr. Danby, who earned his B.A.
and M.A. from Oxford University
and a doctoral degree from Manchester
University, now holds a
professorship at North Carolina
State University. His lecture will
concern the movement of celestial
bodies, such as the planets around
the sun and the moon around the
earth.

The colloquium will take place
in 23B Gilmer Hall.
