Sen. Kennedy To Speak At U-Hall

U.S. Sen. Edward M.
Kennedy (D-Mass.), 1976
Presidential hopeful, will speak
Monday, April 9 at 8:30 p.m.
in University Hall.

Mr. Kennedy's speech topic
is as yet unknown. A member
of the Senate Labor and Public
Welfare Committee, the
Judiciary Committee and the
Special Committee on the
Aging, Mr. Kennedy is serving
his second term in the Senate.

He was first elected to the
Senate in 1962 to fill the
unexpired term of his brother,

the late President John F
Kennedy.

He received his B.A. from
Harvard University in 1956 and
his L.L.B. from the University
Law school in 1959.

The Student Legal Forum
will sponsor his appearance.

Vehicle Registration

The University committee
on Traffic control has
announced that the University
Motor Vehicle Regulations and
their restrictions, to include
reserved parking, are in effect
all weekdays, to include spring
break and other days when
classes are not scheduled.

Legal parking space
restrictions are not in effect
Saturdays and Sundays, except
Saturday mornings in the
Medical Center. Yellow curbs
and no parking signs mean no
parking at all times, the
committee said.

Epstein Elected

Robert M. Epstein,
chairman of the Department of
Anesthesiology at the Medical
School, is the new
president-elect of the
Association of University
Anesthetists.

Dr. Epstein will become
president of the 200-member
association after a year's term
as president-elect. He has
served as secretary of the
organization for three years.

A former professor of
anesthesiology at the Columbia
University College of
Physicians and Surgeons, Dr.
Epstein joined the University
faculty last October.

He has been a Fellow of the
John Simon Guggenheim
Memorial foundation at
Oxford University and a
Fellow of the New York Heart
Association at Columbia
University.
