Spring Course
Pre-Registration
Set Next Month

University Registrar Herbert R. Pickett has
announced that Pre-registration for Spring
Semester will be held during the week of
December 7-11.

Pre-registration times for all undergraduates
will be announced later by the Deans of the
various schools. Pre-registration for students in
graduate schools will begin on December 7 but
will end on dates to be established by each
Dean.

An innovation in final registration for the
Spring Semester is planned for the College and
the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
These students will be required to verify their
enrollment at memorial Gymnasium on
February 1 which is the date of registration for
the Spring Semester.

In the past, students were not required to be
here for registration at the gymnasium as
schedule verification was taken care of before
semester break.

Students in the other schools will verify
enrollment at the office of their Dean in late
January. The times will be announced in the
near future.

Dean of the College Irby Cauthen said that
preregistration materials for College students
will be available in the lobby of Old Cabell Hall
each afternoon of pre-registration week from 2
to 5. Undergraduate advisers in each department
will announce their schedules for conferences
soon.
