Engineers Vote
Shields, Barry
For Two Posts
Trigon swept engineering
school elections yesterday as
Vaden Shields and Ray Berry
were voted to Student Council
and Judiciary Committee respectively.
Mr. Shields defeated Barry
Graham of Theta Tau by a
vote of 338 to 187 while Mr.
Berry defeated William Ross,
also of Theta Tau, 292 to 235.
The proposed Student
Council constitution was overwhelmingly
defeated by a vote
of 356 to 139.
Engineering students also
voted in favor of amending
articles IX and X of the present
constitution. The balloting
was as follows:
Article IX—398 For
118 Against
Article X —288 For
126 Against
