Checks Presented To Aid Director, Head Librarian

Scot Lewis (1), Peter Toms, Ray Frantz, John Moritz

Two checks for $1000 and
$500 from the P.K. Dance Society
and the German Club were
presented to the Office of Financial
Aid and the Alderman
Library Tuesday afternoon in the
Rotunda.

Peter Toms of the Office of
Financial Aid accepted the check
for $1000 from John Moritz
president of the German Club.
This money will go to help the
Honor Award Scholarship program,
the University's only merit
scholarship.

$2000 has also been placed by
the P.K. Society and the German
Club in a savings account
for a new University Honor
Award.

Ray Frantz, University Librarian,
received the check for
$500 from Scot Lewis, president
of the P.K. Dance Society.

Mr. Frantz discussed what
great help an open gift like this
one is to the library.
