'Hide, Seek' Sermon Initiates Sex Series

Speaks Sunday Morning

William Graham Cole, professor
of religion and President
of Lake Forest College, will
open the "Sex and Selfhood" Series
at Westminster Presbyterian
Church Sunday morning with a
sermon entitled "Hide and Seek."

A graduate of Columbia College
and Union Theological Seminary,
Mr. Cole received a Ph.D.
degree from Columbia University.
Aware of the implications of
Christian faith for human sexuality,
he has since written "Sex in
Christianity," "Sex and Love in
the Bible," and "The Restless
Quest of Modern Man."

The schedule for the series is
as follows: Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
the topic will be Sex and Identity:
Male and Female. Sex and Relationship
is the subject of the 8
p.m. address Monday, and the series
will end Tuesday evening at
8 with a discussion of Sex and
Creation.

Mr. Cole has been Chaplain and
Cluett Professor of Religion at
Williams College, as well as
Chaplain and Assistant Professor
of Religion at Smith College.
Presently he is chairman of the
Illinois Commission on Human
Relations and is a member of
the President's Council of the
American Institute of Management.
