Ravens Elect New Members

The Raven Society has
announced its newly elected
members chosen Thursday
night.

New faculty members
include Asst. English Prof.
John C. Coleman, Assoc.
Commerce Prof. William G.
Shenkir and Graduate Business
Prof. C. Stewart Sheppard.

Four alumni were also
chosen. Roger Boyle of the
Faculty of the College and
President of the University
Alumni Association Eli W.
Tullis, '51B.A. were selected.
Also selected was Board of
Visitors member William Louis
Zimmer III, '34B.A., '37L.L.B.

Candidates from the Law
School are third year students
A.R. Cinquegrana, Robert
Houser and Charles Robb.

Fourth-year men from the
College include Bruce
Armistead, Andrew Bailey,
Robert Byron, Michael Flock,
Kim Alan Hatcher and Barry
Levine. Also chosen were G.
Steven McKonly, George
Snead, Beat Steiner. Robert
Verklin and Sheldon Blake
Zablow.

College third-year students
elected to the Society are
Margaret Ann Brown, Barbara
Golden and Larry Sabato.

New members from
Graduate Arts and Sciences are
sixth-year man William Warren,
fifth-year man Thomas
Alexander Mason and
fourth-year students Winthrop
Lindsay Adams and Maryann
McDermott. Third-year
students from that school are
John O'Connor, Matthew
Runci and John Rutledge.

Medical School candidates
are fourth-year men George
Tyson and Richard Mackay.
Richard Garnett, Philip Meyer,
Raymond Ng and Gerald
Rollins were chosen from
Fourth-year Engineering
students.

Selected from the Education
School were Kathleen Gradel,
Robert Mende and Charles
Strauss. Also chosen was
fourth-year undergraduate
Melissa Ann Schaar.

Fifth-year Architecture
student James Norfolk was
elected as well as fourth-yearmen
Harry Lee Arnest III,
Katherine Auth and David Bell
from that school. Third
yearmen Karl Komatsu and
Vincent Rogers were also
chosen.

Fourth-year Commerce
candidates include John
McDonald. Gilbert McGeorge
Jr. and Thomas Wilson. Those
from GSBA are second-year
students Edward Davis. John
Cragoe Jr Joseph Santarlasi
Jr. and R. Strother Scott.

No nominations were made
for the Nursing School.
