Raven Elects
New Members

The Raven Society recently
announced the election of 35 new faculty
and student members, honoring them for
"outstanding achievement and potential."

Seven new members from the College
include Lunzy Britt, Richard Price,
Herbert Beskin and Harry Collier Jr. Peter
Gillespie, Dan Walton and John R. Wood
were also elected from the College.

Elected from the engineering school
were James Rinaca, Timothy Koogle,
James Lockwood Jr., Daniel Garst and
Jerry Harris. Charles Castle, Edward
Glucksman and William Blanchard were
chosen from the medical school.

John Jeffries Jr., Ronald Stevens,
Steven Edwards and Lee Caplin were
selected from the School of Law. Also
elected from the law school were Walter
Bennett Jr., William Nelson, Donald
Cowles, and Allen Barringer.

Faculty members elected to the
Society include Joseph Gibson, Wayne
Wallace, McLemore Birdsong and David
Weiss. Graduate assistant members are
Charles Harris Jr., Lynn Manfield and
Mary Rorick.

Other student members include
education students Charles Blair Jr. and
Russell Barber, Mary German, in the
nursing school, graduate education
student James Murray Jr. and Jacques
McCormack, a student in the School of
Commerce.
