1970-71 Counselors
Housing Office Taps 92

Cavalier Daily Staff Writer
Counselor appointments have been
announced for the 1970-71 session, with
Steven Brickman being chosen as Chairman
of the First Year Program and
Charles Collins as Chairman of the
Alderman Road Program.
The Vice-Chairman of the First Year
Program will be Barry Leader. Senior
counselors under this program will
include: Thomas Bagby, Hal Bogard, Thomas
Buchanan, John Callahan, Terry Dan, Thomas
Hepfer, Ross Howell, Jeffrey Krisch, Robert
Prout, Anthony Sherman, Michael Silvester,
Scott Stephens, and Pat Whitlow.
Counselor reappointees chosen for the First
Year Program are: Franklin Aylor, Jon
Blakenship, James Chafin, Greg Collins, Randolph
Covington, Jesse Davis, Nevel Deharl,
James Dimitri, Allen Freeman, E. Clark Haley,
Donn Kessler, and Joel Kleinman.
Counselors Reappointed
Also reappointed were Vernon Lankford,
Stephen Lenett, Robert Levin, John Lewis,
William McClintock, Ralph McCue, Harry
McSherry, Andrew Potler, Dick Price, Jeffrey
Rice, Frank Roberts, Alan Robertson, Chris
Robinson, Donald Robinson, Thomas
Rodgerson, John Rose, and James Schlacter.
Other counselor reappointees in the First
Year Program are: Stephen Schrelber, William
Shuff, Stephen Tabackman, Gary Troxell,
Larry Trull, Dan (Gib) Walton, David Westerlund,
Robert White, George Willson, and Alfred
Young.
Resident Counselors for 1970-1971 who are
new appointees in the First Year Program are:
Walter Bardenwerper, Douglas Brudno, James
Carmack, Joseph Coci, Harry Collier, Thomas
Collier, Charles Decamps, Joseph Decosimo,
Edwin Elliott, James Farmer, William Garner,
John Golden, Croxton Gordon, Kim Hatcher,
Steven Johnson, and Kevin Kingston.

The new appointees also include Thomas
Layfield, Byrd Leavell, Guy Lob, Gary
McKonly, Henry Miller, Michael Montavon,
Robert Moylan, Charles Peerman, Andrew
Reynolds, Paul Sisk, Dennis Stattman, Douglas
Trueheart, Douglas Ullmann, Robert Verklin,
John Wallace, Mark Warner, Milton Whitfield,
and John Wood.
Students chosen to be Head Residents in the
Alderman Road Program include: Thomas
Collier, Thomas Drinkwater, Eugene Lockhart,
and Thomas Viar.
Alderman Road Program
Counselors in the Alderman Road Program
are: Alan Featherstone, Anthony Fouts, Leslie
Kates, Michael Lynn, James Magee, James
Malone, Leonard Touchette, and Michael
Vaughn.
William Holleman has been chosen Head
Resident of the Lawn.
Reappointed to the Graduate Head Resident
Program are: Richard Barron, Harry Flynn,
Barry Levin, William Shapiro, and Robert
Spiller.
Thomas Slabaugh is a new appointee to the
Graduate Head Resident Program for the
1970-71 session.
