Union Declares
Film Competition

If you think you are creative, the Fine
Arts Committee of the University Union
is giving you yet another chance to prove
your ability. This time it's a film contest,
so get your cameras rolling.

The contest will be held during the second
week in April although the exact date for the
showings has not yet been announced. If the
response is good, there will have to be
preliminary showings to determine the top
films which will then be shown publicly in
Newcomb Hall ballroom.

Films should be limited to thirty minutes in
length and must be made by the student
entering them. Cash prizes of $40, $25 and $10
will be offered for first place, second place, and
honorable mentions respectively.

All persons interested in entering should call
the University Union, extension 3286, so that
the number of possible entries may be
determined.
