AEPi Tops Academic List
In New Fraternity Standings

Alpha Epsilon Pi, moving into the top spot from second
place, took the lend in academic standing of fraternities released
by the Registrar's office for the last session.

Rounding out the top five were Phi Epsilon Pi, Delta Sigma
Phi, Chi Phi, and Pi Kappa Phi.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon, moving from twenty-fourth to seventh
place, received the Cross Award for the most scholastically improved
fraternity during the previous session.

Once again the all-fraternity men's average topped the Allmen's
average, 2,4915 to 2,4455. The fraternity pledge average,
2,1753, failed to reach the all-first-year men's average of 2,2539,
however.

Grade point averages are computed for all full and part-time
undergraduate male students enrolled in the University at Charlottesville
for both semesters. Those excluded, graduate students
and those in the Honors program, are shown in parentheses.

Fraternity standing for the previous session is shown in parentheses
