Lench Files For Candidacy
In College President Race

Third-year college student
John Lench has filed a petition
with Student Council to run
for College President in the

upcoming elections March 20
and 21.

Mr. Lench will compete
with third-year men Richard
Berkeley, Dave Horan and
Mike Miller who filed for
candidacy last week. He is
running on a one-man slate.

Serves As Honor Chairman

The winner of the election
will serve as Honor Committee
Chairman as well as College
President. He will take charge
of the Honor Committee
immediately after election.

Honor Committee
Chairman Gordon Peerman
said the "practical
considerations of exposing the
greatest number of people to
the System" should be the
object of the concentrated
efforts of the new Committee.

Write-Ins Due Wednesday

Student Council Elections
Committee Co-Chairman Paul
Freeman announced that
anyone interested in running in
the elections as a write-in
candidate should hand their
petitions with the appropriate
number of signatures in to the
Student Council office before
4 p.m. March 21.
