Monday Night
WUVA, the University radio station,
announced that it will provide news coverage of
the Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier Heavyweight
championship fight on Monday night, March 8.
There will be no live television or radio
coverage of the fight, nor will there be any later
broadcasts or recreation of the fight.
Beginning at 10 p.m. WUVA will interrupt
normal broadcasting with round by round
summaries and analyses of the progress of the
fight.
