Societies List Candidates,
Will Hold Caucus Tonight
Fifteen aspiring politicos tossed
their hats in the ring yesterday
afternoon as they made their bids
for ten spots in the two political
society caucuses tonight.
These students will run for six
Student Council offices, three from
each caucus. Two Judiciary
Committee nominations from each
caucus will also be made.
For the first time in recent
history, an independent will run for
Student Council on an Independent
ticket. He submitted no activities to
The Cavalier Daily, hence none will
be published.
Skull & Keys will hold its
caucus tonight in the New
Chemistry Building at 8 p.m., while
the Sceptre Society will hold its
Caucus at 8 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall
Auditorium.
In addition to selecting
nominees for these 10 positions, the
caucuses will also propose and
ratify platforms.
