Poetry Contest
Accepts Entries

The English Department is sponsoring
the 16th annual Poetry Contest again this
spring for the Academy of American
Poets.

A prize of $100 will be awarded the
poem that is considered the best by a
panel of judges. Budding poets are requested to
submit their works to the English Department
at Room 115 of James Wilson Hall.

Poems may by submitted by graduate as
well as undergraduate students at the University
and are not restricted as to form or number.
However each piece must be signed and must
not be more than 120 lines in length.

Poetry may be submitted, each in a separate
envelope, at any time before closing date, May
1.
