On Social Issues

Two workshop productions,
"The 101st" by Kenneth Cameron
and "Son of the Revolution"
by Barry Oringer, will be presented
by the Virginia Players
in Minor Hall tonight at 8:30.

Director Paul Kuritz calls "The
101st" a farce in the style of
"America Hurrah," a current
Broadway hit. The play takes a
look at social work and poverty
programs as the two relate to
the needy people of the United
States.

Director Doug Young calls
"Son of the Revolution" a "debate"
over the means and methods
of revolution.

University students will be admitted
to the two productions
without charge. The charge for
the general public will be 60
cents.
