Green Wins Job
As Annual Chief

Running unopposed, third-year
man Bob Green won the post of
Editor-In-Chief of the 1969
"Corks and Curls," in elections
held last Thursday.

In other managing board elections,
Steve Hayes won the job
of Managing Editor, while incumbent
Bick Cardwell will be the
Business Manager.

Other positions on the new
staff will be appointed by the
new managing board within the
next two weeks.

At Thursday evening's meeting,
outgoing editor Jeff Cohn credited
this year's staff for the increased
subscriptions, more revenue,
an office staff that was
"better than ever," and for submitting
all copy to the publishers
on time.

Mr. Cohn also pointed out the
fact that in 1970, the "Corks
and Curls" will publish its
Sesquicentennial edition. He
asked that this edition be the
best ever published.

Mr. Green hoped that the 1969
edition would be as good as this
year's. He promised that he
would "continue color photography,
special effects, and good
layout."

"Basically," the new editor explained,"
the format will remain
the same, although the addition
of a faculty section along with a
general index is being seriously
considered."

Mr. Green offered that he
would "attempt to maintain the
high standards that the 'Corks
and Curls' has offered to the University
community in the last few
years."

The new managing board will
assume their positions this week,
and have already begun to work
on next year's yearbook.
