Come Monday, the University
ought to be thoroughly exhausted,
but no one seems to mind right
now. Openings '67, the first official
"big weekend" of the year, is in
full swing.

To continue the festivities begun
last night, the Cavaliers will seek
their third win of the season this
afternoon at 1:30 against the University
of North Carolina Tarheels.
The old grid rivalry will be perpetuated
in Scott Stadium by initiating
the Old Blue Keg Trophy, to be
claimed each year by the victor of
that football contest.

Concert At 7

After the game, sounds of "Sock
It To Me, Baby" and "Going To A
Go-Go" will be heard in University
Hall as the Mitch Ryder Show and
Smokey Robinson and the Miracles
are billed to play from 7 to 9.
The concert is sponsored by the
PK-German dance societies. Tickets
are available at Mincers' and
Newcomb Hall for $3.25.

Rush season reaches a climax tonight
with fraternity parties which
are officially scheduled for 9-2, following
the concert.

Rides may be given to first-year
men to and from the game and
concert and dates' approved housing,
from noon until 3 a.m. Fraternity
men are reminded that rushees are
not permitted to dine out with them
or to attend apartment parties.
There will be no rush on Sunday.

Rugby, Polo Sunday

The Tarheels will still be around
Sunday to challenge the undefeated
Virginia Rugby Club. The event
will be held at 2 p.m. on the field
adjoining Memorial Gymnasium.

Also tomorrow Virginia's undefeated
Polo Club will take on
NCAA champion Yale. The event
on the Polo Grounds will test Virginia's
strength against a team accustomed
to practicing in indoor
facilities.

Rumor has it there will be various
parties Sunday afternoon, although
there will be no rush. Also
featured will be such standard attractions
as the movies and Skyline
Drive.
