1501. CONGRESS, Appointment of Members.—
Delegates to represent this colony
[Va.] in the American Congress shall be appointed, when necessary, by the House of
Representatives. After serving one year in
that office, they shall not be capable of being
reappointed to the same during an interval of
one year.—
