9. The Sun as told by Lawrence Mithlo
"Inside of the Sun, two cottonwood trees stand erect."
1. jígonaa'áí [also heard jíͅgonaa'áí 'the sun'. Possibly a compound of jíͅgo 'being day, during the day' [cf. jíͅíͅ' 'day'], naa'á 'a round object moves about' [3rd person cont. imp. with prefix naa- 'about' of -'aa 'a round object moves'] and -í relative.
2. 'iłk'idáͅne 'the old people'. 'iłk'idáͅ 'long ago' [part.] plus -ne 'people of such and such a group'.
