 Description: The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia was held on this date in the Office of the President of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, with the following present: The Rector, Barron F. Black, President Colgate W. Darden, Jr., of the University of Virginia; Visitors Coxe, Gravatt, Howard, Mears, Mrs. Smith, Talbott, Wailes, and Wheeler. Absent: Dr. M. L. Combs, President Mary Washington College, Visitors Barksdale, Carrington, Emmett, Gay, and Mr. Smith The undersigned committee recommends that the following be stated as the policy of the University concerning grants-in-aid to students from funds supplied by the University of Virginia Alumni Association or the Virginia Student Aid Foundation.
