| Description: | In pursuance of a call, by three members of the Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia, for a special meeting of the Board on Monday the 26th of May 1856, the following members of the Board appeared and took their seats Messrs Andrew Stevenson, John R. Edmunds, Muscoe R. H. Garnett and John R. Tucker, there being no quorum present the Board adjourned until this evening at five oclock. The Board met pursuant to adjournment present the same gentlemen as on yesterday with the exception of Messrs Robertson and Baldwin. | ||
