U.S. Colored Troops having made a Claim
against the U.S. Government for the Bounty &c
due the above named soldier, it is necessary
for the claimants to furnish evidence of two persons
who write showing that the said soldier left
surviving him no widow, child, or children,
father, mother, brother, or sister other than the
applicants,=Julia Washington, Luberta and
Jane Brooks,=and that said named sisters
and the deceased soldier were children of the
